Ending The Working Year On A Suitably Absurd Note

Hello,
Today we had a very distressed client in our offices complaining that she'd been sent a distressing letter concerning her deceased ex-husband. As the letter contained a fairly large cheque from a life insurance policy I was baffled at why she was so angry. There was talk of lawyers and compensation -usually a sign of madness in my experience.

The cause of her anguish was that the letter was addressed to 'The Executors Of The Estate Of Mr S**** B****'. Why did this cause her such distress? 'because ah never fuckin killed him!' came the reply.

A look at the dictionary and a further five minutes of patient reasoning and all was well with the world again.

Cheerio

I'm worried, I had to read it twice to understand the joke. Should I seek help?

That has to be the strangest Malapropism I've ever heard. So much so that it threw me for a few moments as well.

It's as well that it didn't say "Executrix", or she'd have said that she wasn't a hoor.

Zin Zin,
I was there and it took me a good few minutes to realise what was happening. Let's seek help together!

Dearie Me,
I hadn't thought of that. Let us pray she's not waiting for me on my return. I don't think I can take any more.
