As my good friend the Ill Man reported earlier in the week you are all invited for a pint on friday 1st September 2006.
We are meeting at Babbity Bowster, Blackfriars Street, G1 at 7pm. We'd love you all to come along. I shall be waiting in the beer garden -smoking.
In order to kill two birds with one stone I shall be delighted to accept hand delivered postcard manifestos between 7pm and 9pm. After that they'll only confuse me.

I've had a very rude e-mail from what I suppose is a 'special'. I've invited him anyway. I've also put a bulletin up on myspace. I am determined to mob the bowster.
What if all we get are the 'specials'?
Thankfully we know the easiest ways in and out of Babbity's.

P.S I've managed to book two nights in Amsterdam. Bit of a shortage. How far are you prepared to slum it?
Oh shite! What are the options? I think I can take the crappy end of the hotel/B&B market. If it comes to using hostels I may have to go and have a wee cry to myself but ultimately i'll do as i'm told etc.........
Not sure what your finances are like, but I think I ought to have enough to pay for decent digs by December. I've decided to turn the 'deposit savings' over to the Amsterdam trip.

Fair enough. I'm trying for very basic self catering etc. I'm just making you aware there is an availability problem. Still the first night is in a nice hotel.

I'm sorry, I was unable to attend as I only came across this blog very recently. I was in town on the 2nd and it was awful; full of footy fans.
