The Toys Take Control

Hello,
I came across this fellow and his fine blog on my travels today. The poor chap is so bored he is allowing his decisions to be made by an Unazukin toy, rather like the one pictured above. The manufacturers, the wonderful Bandai advise that Unazukin is decision making made easy and will supply you with a wise response to absolutley any question that can be answered yes or no. I want one.

The toy decides.
Alan Lubin is letting a japanese toy decide his life.

Brilliantly mental. Similar I suppose to Dave Gorman and his horoscope experiments but the scope for making an absolute berk of yourself by constantly consulting an egg shaped toy in public places gives this one an edge.

I've started reading his archived posts. The trip to Glasgow was particularly mad.

I haven't come up to date with it. Is he still with his "AG"?

Anybody ever read Diceman by Luke Rhinehart?
A man who makes all his decisions by rolling the dice.
I guess this is the 21st century updated version.

The guy refers to a dice rolling loon in his first post. Can't remember if it's the same guy though.

Yes, it's the same one though I haven't got round to reading it yet. I quite like the idea of putting your fate in the hands of something totally random.

What pisces iscariot said. BTW when Diceman first came out in the early 70s, my late husband sent me poste haste to Hamleys, with instructions to come back with 6 large dice (in case some got lost), and for about 10 days, he tried to live by the Dice, while I just carried on as normal. Ah the vagueries of youth!

*curses. might have made an interesting post*
