The Marching Season

Hello,

You may remember I promised to bring you exclusive coverage of the high point of the summer Orange marching season a while back. Well I'm delighted to do so now. Sadly I didn't manage to get pictures of the fight taking place outside my house, they seemed like an aggressive bunch and I was trying to avoid drawing attention to myself. As I'm sure you can imagine having your house surrounded by hundreds of pissed up Rangers fans curtails ones movements somewhat. The whole thing took two hours to pass my house. I was surprised to hear that there had been arrests for 'sectarian behaviour'. The mind boggles as to how obnoxious one's behaviour would need to to be singled out in a crowd that seems to relish the thought of being 'up to the knees in Fenian blood'. What on earth did they do to get arrested -rape a nun? That's enough from me for the moment, so I'll leave you to admire the festivities.

Cheerio

They are a bunch of cunts. And I say that as a Rangers supporter myself. I despise these marches, and the Orange Order are nothing but a religion-oriented KKK with bowler hats instead of cowls.

Makes me sick to my stomach...

Did you notice that in the first picture there's an invisible man in a wheelchair?
I'm all for greater transparency in the Orange Lodge.

Also in the second last one you mistakenly took a picture of the notorious Bluemen.

It could have been a sudden recovery.

Maybe the rendezvous likes the colourful uniforms.

I've made my views on sectarian marches clear in the past. Suffice to say, I'm not a fan.

My mum happened to be in Glasgow city centre on Saturday morning, for a bit of shopping.
She tried to head home around 12ish only to find the city centre had effectively been sealed off. She eventually got home at 6.
She lives less than 10 miles away from town.
